Abstract

The library is a place where you can find the information and
knowledge you need. Library space is a very important means of
organizing book loans because it not only creates space and then
fills it with collections, but also pays attention to how the layout of
the books is arranged. Therefore, the data is analyzed in order to
help recommend the layout of books and borrowers can find the
appropriate books. To determine the suggestion of borrowed
books, with the existence of play data can use the a priori
algorithm, a kind of association rule. The market basket analysis
method used by the a priori algorithm to establish associations
between various variables allows the system to further analyze and
identify trends related to borrowed books. Based on the results of
the analysis that has been carried out, it is stated that this a priori
algorithm can be used to display recommendations between
borrowed books. The support value can show the classification of
books borrowed simultaneously while the confidence value can
find out the recommendations for books borrowed.
